Plants and Gardens

Our designs include plants that are selected for both their appearance and function, including their adaptability, their regional context, and the ecological function they serve in the landscape. The majority of our plant palette is composed of Northeast Native plants but we also incorporate old-fashioned favorites such as lilacs, boxwood and hydrangeas when a client requests them. It’s really all about balance. Native plants can be morphed into any design style whether it is contemporary, traditional, or country cottage, and every one of our designs is different because each design reflects the personal style of a client.
