Homestead Design

When Tim and Becca moved back home to Vermont, they breathed life back into an 1800s lakefront farm with the goal of raising the majority of their own food. Today Linden Farm is a model of a Cooperative Homestead and produces enough food for the Linden L.A.N.D. Group employees and a few friends. The farm raises sheep, pigs, chickens, vegetables, fruit, and bees, and explores efficient methods for small scale homesteading. We offer consulting and design services to others who are interested in self-sufficient living, but are new to the adventure.
