Self-sufficiency is in the process of being re-tooled. Tim and Rebecca both grew up on back-to-the-land homesteads in the 60's and 70's in Maine and VT. Their parents did it all - they built their own homes from logs milled on the property, cleared the land, grew vegetables and fruit, preserved and stored food through the winters, and raised every barnyard animal imaginable. Today Tim and Becca, along with several Linden L.A.N.D. Group crew members, operate Linden Farm as a cooperative homestead, balancing the desire to live close to the land with busy professional and family lives. Many of our clients love and want to keep their day jobs, but also want to eat local organic food and experience the satisfaction of growing it, maximizing whatever small space and free time they have available. So, we have developed a system that makes growing organic food in your own backyard incredibly convenient, tidy and rewarding.
